17 December 2015 - THE SEASON of goodwill has started in earnest in Bedworth with a message of thanks going out to all who helped support disaster relief while buying in festive supplies. Members of the Rotary Club of Bedworth would like to express their gratitude to the customers of Tesco in the town for helping to raise more than £800 in the run up to Christmas.

02 October 2015 - A MESSAGE of thanks is going out to residents who helped to build a poignant memorial in Bedworth. Vince Taylor, a Bedworth Society archivist, is thanking everyone who helped to build the Exhall Pit disaster memorial that now stands in St Gile's Meadow. It was unveiled on Sunday, September 20 and stands as a tribute to 14 miners who lost their lives in a fire 100 years ago.

02 July 2015 - ORGANISERS of one of the borough's proudest and most cherished traditions have been 'bowled over' by the latest contribution to their cause. Cricketers handed over a bumper cheque to the organisers of the Bedworth Armistice Day Parade.

20 Mar 2015 - SOME serious musical talent has been showcased as part of an annual contest to find the star turns of tomorrow. An appreciative and expectant audience were ready at Nicholas Chamberlaine School recently for the Rotary Club of Bedworth's Young Musician of the Year competition.

07 June 2014 - AN OFFICER from the British Consulate in Kabul is to be the guest of honour at an event tomorrow. Members of Bedworth Rotary are to welcome along Chris Fitzgerald, a former rotary ambassadorial scholar and now the political officer at the British Consulate in Kabul, Afghanistan, at their lunchtime meeting.

10th April 2014 - STUDENTS at a Bedworth-based school got to ditch their uniforms for the day while finding out more about an essential survival kit. Head boy, head girl and their deputies at Nicholas Chamberlaine Technology College organised a non-uniform day to raise funds for ShelterBox.

1st August 2013 - ANOTHER batch of happy holidaymakers have enjoyed a relaxing week away. This year’s second Rotary Blackpool Holiday was again a success – with everyone returning from a week beside the seaside yesterday. This year the Rotary Club of Nuneaton and the Rotary Club of Bedworth joined forces for the trips – with holidaymakers from both towns going together.

However, instead of passing them on to someone new, President of the Rotary Club of Bedworth and President of the Rotary Club of Coventry Phoenix - aka husband and wife team Paul and Lorna Beedham, found themselves passing them back to themselves!
